The University of Sydney will host a workshop on the Neuroeconomics of disadvantage in the lead up to the FUR conference. This meeting will focus on applications of decision theory to pressing societal issues – addiction, self-control, mental health, limited cognitive resources. It will feature theoretical and empirical papers that use behavioural decision theory that is biologically realistic to explain and find solutions to these problems.
